Hello!
Thank you for visiting my personal chocolate website and wanting to know more about me, and the chocolate.
I'm a writer, chiropractor, yoga teacher here on Cape Codand the founder of both Harmony Network Chiropractic and Yoga and the Heron Way Writer's Group. I have a very full family life here as well as a part-time life in NYC. Among things I enjoy, at the top of the list are: yoga, traveling to new places, reading great books, my garden, entertaining and spending time with friends and family, and fantastic dark chocolate!
I've had the good fortune to have traveled to many amazing places in the world but my most recent trip, with my husband Richard, was close to home - up to beautiful Vermont and almost European, Montreal to visit friends and soak up some of the great food and fall color. I'm always planning my NEXT trip but for some thoughts about one of my favorite travels ever, (a week alone in a Provincetown Dune shack with no electricity or running water), you can visit my blog, or when you go back to my main website www.harmonychiroyoga.com. I'm always updating my goals and ambitions but most currently, I 'm so excited to be throwing my mother a big surprise party / weekend for her upcoming 90th birthday in the beginning of November. It's huge and still a surprise, so SSSSHHHH!!! Although I've been very fortunate to accomplish many things in my life, I think perhaps the most important thing I've been able to do so far has been becoming a mother to my niece and nephew, Sarah and CJ, in 1998 after both my sister and brother in law passed away. As you can imagine, their losses were devastating to our entire family, we have all been enormously gifted with the presence of each other as we continue on together.
That's also why I love owning my own businesses - because it means stepping up to the plate, to show up available and ready to offer my gifts as fully as I can to whatever life brings to me each day. Yes, it's a challenge, but it's also a joy ride. I hope you'll consider Xocai chocolate not just because it's FABULOUS, truly guilt free, healthy CHOCOLATE, but also because you can have a business, full-time, part-time, or just enough to pay for your chocolate, if you choose!
