Do you want to join me in 'Will Run 4 Chocolate?' Here's the scoop on how it works!
How much time is required?
That is up to you. There is a weekly conference call that is 20 minutes long which gives updates on what is new with the company and sales techniques. It is managed by a very successful Xocai distributor but eventually, I see our group as having our own call that is made up exclusively of our 'will run 4 chocolate' group of running chocolate distributors. The running community includes a lot of creative people of high achievement and your suggestions and skills are welcomed in building a strong team. There are other optional online or phone conferences that are also available at various times to anyone interested. Besides being very successful business people, the Xocai leaders provide lots of resources and are accessible. While the news media is only showing the dark side of the global economy, Xocai is growing and has just expanded into 5 more countries. Keep in mind that you can now sell our healthy belgian chocolate in the US, Australia, Canada, UK , Netherlands, Hungary, Japan and the Cook Islands.
How much financial investment is required?
To become a distributor, you need to pay an associate fee of $39 and buy 2 cases of chocolate. That is a total of $259 plus the shipping and handling. Besides the chocolate, you get a starter kit, a one year subscription to the online back office which has all kinds of resources and your own personal website like this one. It is recommended if you join 'wiilrun4chocolate' that you get a t-shirt printed since it is easy marketing that other runners will ask you about. You are welcome to expand on this and create your own niche with cyclists, triathletes or whatever other sport you care about. I will soon have a link to the shirts I have made which you can order or feel free to create your own. If you want to be involved more than part-time, there are larger options which have some advantages. I'm happy to give you that info if you leave your contact info.
Why is Xocai sold by individuals and not in retail outlets?
The founder Jeanette Brooks, has had experience in both the retail model of sales and network marketing. In the retail model of sales, there are huge overhead costs including product placement fees. The network marketing model eliminates a lot of those costs which enables individual distributors to be fairly compensated. This model is now being taught at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In tough markets, network marketing sales increase while retail sales tend to decrease. Another advantage is this opportunity provides a method for a residual stream of income to a 'day job'. Some people have actually replaced their regular jobs. It is my goal to leave my flight attendant job within a couple of years since I believe there is more of a future for me here than in the airline industry.
What else?
I believe in the green ethic of leaving the smallest possible footprint and preserving our precious resources. One of the things that so impressed me about Xocai was in addition to the health benefits, the chocolate ingredients are sourced ethically and the chocolate is packaged and shipped in recycled and recyclable materials. Rain forest is protected because the use of Acai slows the deforestation of the Amazon as local farmers can obtain more money for this sustainable, pesticide-free product than by clearing their land for cattle grazing.
How do I get started?
