Hi, I'm Carol Madsen from the Salt Lake Valley in beautiful Utah! We have some of the most beautiful places to visit in Utah--from grand rock monuments to desert, to beautiful fresh air mountains, lakes and streams...

I am known as mom, grandma, Carol and Carol Ann(but only if someone is angry with me.

My family consists of my husband of 28 years and our 7 children. We have added 2 sons-in-law and 3 grandchildren to our ever growing family (yes, one more on the way). We've also, unofficially, "adopted" several young people whose families are not in the United States. We have quite the mix.

I enjoy many things, but at the top of my list: I enjoy my family, reading, Stargate SG-1, Pride and Prejudice (all 6 hours), being in the chocolate business and visiting with all the wonderful people out there.

Our family loves spending time together (including extended family) playing games, hiking, camping, and going to Disneyland... (November is best!) We consider trips to my parents house "mini-vacations". We often hike, fish, and go 4 wheeling.

Goals and ambitions are motivating and important in a person's life. I have a goal to build a Chocolate Empire while helping other people become healthier and financially free along the way.

Do you know someone who loves chocolate, thinks outside the box and can see the possibilities?

I've been fortunate to accomplish many things in my life but my biggest accomplishment: has been to raise wonderful, caring children. They are good citizens who show respect, get good grades in school, and serve others often.

I'm having the time of my life right now by living my dream of owning my own business. I love it! It means I can stay at home teaching, training, and loving my family. I can work around their schedules and be there for their activities.

Parenthood is a full-time job. No mom should have to work. Families need the nurturing a mom (or even a dad) can give. If a father is the only parent...what wouldn't he give to be a stay at home dad to take care of his children.

Maybe the healthy chocolate business is the place he would rather be. Maybe then he would get paid what he was worth in the work field. The Chocolate business is a family business.

FUN note: I've told my children that if they will share chocolate information with their teachers, the principals, the councelors, etc., I'll do the rest. And if anyone they talk to first comes into the business, they get paid! Well, I have some young entrepreneurs and they have started talking their teachers, passing out pamphlets, and right now we have 7 looking at Healthy Chocolate! (Just from a couple of days and 1 evening of effort! 10/06)

I know several single dads and moms who would give just about anything to be their own boss, to choose their own hours, and be able to be home for their children instead of leaving them to someone else's care or to their own devices.

I hope that gives you some insight into who I am.
