My name is Joyce Sandilands. Thank you for visiting my website and for wanting to learn a little bit about me and these wonderful chocolate products. I live in Victoria, British Columbia on the beautiful West Coast of Canada. I'm an author, mother, grandmother and wife of bestselling historical novelist, J. Robert Whittle. Our writing careers began in 1994 as the result of a health issue, but long before this, health had become one of my major interests. When I was introduced to Xocai Healthy Chocolates in 2008, I knew that despite my already busy schedule of writing and producing my husband's novels, I couldn't ignore this opportunity to share these amazing healthy 'snack foods!'

How can these chocolate products be so healthy you ask. It's because they are full of the fruits that have the highest procyanidin (OPCs, a type of antioxidant) levels known to man giving them an unbelievable ORAC score. These fruits are the Acai Berry and Blueberry in concentrated powder form. Plus these chocolates are made using a cold pressed method which does not destroy the nutrients and no extra sugar is added so they are suitable for diabetics. One of our new products (Xocai XoBiotic) even has Probiotics (active bacteria to aid digestion).

I've accomplished many things in my life and, had many varying interests, but health has always been right up there due to some family issues. I value life and understand the importance that health should rank in our busy and environmentally challenged lives. Due to a potentially devastating experience my husband had with staph infection in 1994, we started a health business together carrying on my tradition of selling health products which had begun in 1977. Now, in our senior years, we are still very active and always eager to help others. At the top of my dream list is to live a long enough life to enjoy my grandchildren's lives, my garden, and to retire and travel with my husband. I have only recently learned how very important it is to have goals in life ... it helps to keep me motivated. My present goal is to retire in five years and to achieve these dreams.

I am a proud Canadian, but over the years it has been extremely difficult for many companies in the health field to gain the approval of Health Canada so we can market their amazing products ... not so with Xocaii Healthy Chocolates!! Amazingly, in early 2009, Health Canada made an astonishing ruling which not only allows Xocai chocolate products to be sold in Canada, but it seems to actually recommend them to Canadians due to their positive health benefits!
