Hello! Thank you for visiting my personal website and for wanting to learn a little bit about me.
I live in Columbus, Ohio, but I've also lived in Cleveland, Ohio; Midland, Michigan; Lake Jackson, Texas; and Burlington, Vermont. My friends call me Lainie and I'm married to Ken. I am a Naturopathic Doctor and have a home business called Up With Herbs (upwithherbs.com). My business is based on treating cats naturally with herbs and homeopathic remedies. I also raise and show Persian cats (fleurelainecattery.com).
I enjoy many things, but at the top of my list are vacations with my husband, relaxing on the beach, playing golf, bowling, biking and long walks. For my last vacation, we went to Hilton Head Island, So. Carolina. It was a week-long trip and we were joined by our son, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters. We celebrated our 30th Anniversary and Ken's 60th birthday.
My goals and ambitions are to help people attain and maintain good health. I would like to retire comfortably and enjoy our grandchildren.
I've been fortunate to accomplish many things in my life. But my biggest accomplishment is that I have shown three cats to National awards, two were 3rd best cat in the country.
I'm having the time of my life right now by living my dream of owning my own business. Having my own business has meant an independence that I enjoy and could not have experienced while working for someone else.
I hope that gives you some insight into who I am.
