Hello! Thank you for visiting and being curious. I want you to Love Chocolate -- for Life!
I'm Canadian, and have also lived many places, including southern California and South Korea. I've traveled to places such as the UK, France, Australia and Thailand.
My friends call me Val; some call me ValGal -- just don't call me late for dinner! I come from a close family that proudly celebrated our parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary. My "children" are the Grade 1 students who I taught in South Korea.
I bet we enjoy some of the same things.... only the best, right? -- like healthy food and drink, good friends, and a good walk in a scenic setting.
I've seen how poor health can limit one's enjoyment of life and love and the future, and I want to share life! One of my most memorable vacations featured elephant rides in Thailand and shopping and eating traditional Thai foods. I love the sequined shoes I bought at the Night Market in Chang Mai!
Goals and ambitions are an important part of my life. One goal is to scuba dive again on the Great Barrier Reef. I also want to see some Korean children who I taught graduate from school.
I've been fortunate to accomplish many things in my life. But my biggest accomplishment: Getting up from my last fall, and daring to be brave and courageous in the face of daunting opposition.
I'm having the time of my life right now by living my dream of owning my own business. It gives me the reason to stay motivated, to stay focused, to help others by being a good example and to encourage others to make healthy choices for themselves and their futures.
So, that tells you a bit about me. I believe that most people are multi-talented, and that includes you! Sometimes we just need an opportunity to discover what we CAN do. And then how great is it when someone cheers us on!
If you join my team, you can count on being cheered on, because I know how tough it can be to look at the odds and choose to be determined to overcome them. It's great to have support around you, but sometimes the only support we will get must come from above or from an unexpected source. So if you stay open and hopeful and determined, lots of good things can happen.
Think positive and stay focused on your dreams!
Valerie
